Beispielsweise legte der Datendiebstahl bei Target, der w\u00e4hrend der Weihnachtssaison 2013 aufgedeckt wurde, die pers\u00f6nlichen Daten von 110 Millionen Kunden offen. In den Wochen nach Bekanntwerden der Nachricht verzeichnete der Einzelhandelsriese einen Umsatzr\u00fcckgang. Anfang 2014, als Target seinen Ergebnisbericht f\u00fcr das vierte Quartal 2013 ver\u00f6ffentlichte, wurden die Auswirkungen des Datendiebstahls deutlich sichtbar: Der Gewinn des Unternehmens war gesunken. <a title=\"Target Profit f\u00e4llt aufgrund des Kreditkartenbetrugs um 461 TP3T und weitere Einbu\u00dfen k\u00f6nnten folgen.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/maggiemcgrath\/2014\/02\/26\/target-profit-falls-46-on-credit-card-breach-and-says-the-hits-could-keep-on-coming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">46 Prozent<\/a> Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr. Wenige Monate sp\u00e4ter trat der CEO des Unternehmens zur\u00fcck. Target ist auch nicht das einzige Unternehmen, das nach einem Sicherheitsvorfall darum k\u00e4mpft, das Vertrauen zur\u00fcckzugewinnen; <a title=\"Interactions stellt fest, dass 45 Prozent der Verbraucher Einzelh\u00e4ndlern nicht zutrauen, ihre Daten sicher zu verwahren.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.interactionsmarketing.com\/news\/?p=1076\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">36 Prozent<\/a> Laut einer aktuellen Studie geben viele Kunden an, dass sie ein Unternehmen nach einem Datenleck seltener aufsuchen werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leider tragen CIOs und CISOs bei Problemen mit der Informationssicherheit den gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil der Schuld \u2013 ob gerechtfertigt oder nicht. Das ist wahrscheinlich ein Teil des Grundes daf\u00fcr., <a title=\"Die drei gr\u00f6\u00dften IT-Probleme am Arbeitsplatz rauben CIOs 2015 den Schlaf.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/top-three-it-workplace-issues-prevent-cios-from-sleeping-easy-in-2015-300026276.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mehr als die H\u00e4lfte<\/a> Viele CIOs nennen Sicherheitsbedrohungen als ihre gr\u00f6\u00dfte Sorge heutzutage. Dar\u00fcber hinaus sind diese IT-F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte nicht paranoid; <a title=\"4 Gr\u00fcnde, warum CIOs ihre Jobs verlieren\" href=\"http:\/\/learn.sungardas.com\/rs\/sungardavailabilitysvcslp\/images\/business-continuity-plan-why-cios-get-fired-GEN-WPS-078.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ein aktuelles Wei\u00dfbuch<\/a> Laut einer Studie der Silverton Consulting Group sind Sicherheitsl\u00fccken der Hauptgrund daf\u00fcr, dass CIOs ihren Job verlieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selbst wenn CISOs oder CIOs nach einem Sicherheitsvorfall nicht entlassen werden, werden sie wahrscheinlich Schwierigkeiten haben, das Vertrauen ihrer Kollegen zur\u00fcckzugewinnen. Sobald dies erreicht ist, l\u00e4sst sich die Akzeptanz im gesamten Unternehmen deutlich leichter sicherstellen.
