El IoT es un factor clave en la ciberseguridad, resultado en gran medida de la evoluci\u00f3n y expansi\u00f3n natural de la tecnolog\u00eda, pero el sector tambi\u00e9n se ve afectado por problemas de personal, en particular, un importante d\u00e9ficit de talento en seguridad inform\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<h3>Formaci\u00f3n de un equipo de ciberseguridad<\/h3>\n<p>Los gerentes y ejecutivos responsables de reunir y dotar de personal a los equipos de seguridad cibern\u00e9tica est\u00e1n viendo un cambio r\u00e1pido en los conjuntos de habilidades que los miembros de estos equipos deben tener para tener \u00e9xito frente a <a href=\"https:\/\/swimlane.com\/es\/llenar-el-vacio-en-la-ciberseguridad\/\">Los desaf\u00edos de hoy.<\/a> Por ejemplo, a medida que los entornos virtualizados y en la nube se vuelven cada vez m\u00e1s comunes, la seguridad definida por software (un modelo en el que la seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n se implementa y controla a trav\u00e9s del software) se est\u00e1 volviendo cada vez m\u00e1s cr\u00edtica, lo que hace que las habilidades de desarrollo de software sean primordiales.<\/p>\n<p>Desafortunadamente, la necesidad de profesionales de seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n con estas habilidades de desarrollo supera con creces la cantidad de personas que las poseen. Como resultado, hemos llegado a un punto en el que Cisco estima una escasez mundial de m\u00e1s de <a title=\"Sala de prensa de Cisco\" href=\"http:\/\/newsroom.cisco.com\/release\/1310011\/Cisco-Annual-Security-Report-Documents-Unprecedented-Growth-of-Advanced-Attacks-and-Malicious-Traffic?utm_medium=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 mill\u00f3n<\/a> Profesionales de seguridad inform\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo llegamos a esta situaci\u00f3n? La falta de talento en TI no surgi\u00f3 de la noche a la ma\u00f1ana; es el resultado de una confluencia de factores, entre ellos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Evoluci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida de la tecnolog\u00eda: <\/strong>En pocas palabras, la tecnolog\u00eda avanza tan r\u00e1pidamente \u2014y, como resultado, crea tantos empleos nuevos\u2014 que resulta dif\u00edcil formar suficientes profesionales cualificados para cubrir estos puestos. El ritmo al que avanza la tecnolog\u00eda tambi\u00e9n implica que las habilidades de los empleados suelen quedar obsoletas r\u00e1pidamente, a menos que quienes trabajan en el sector se esfuercen por mantenerse al d\u00eda con las \u00faltimas tendencias.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cambio en las habilidades necesarias: <\/strong>A medida que la tecnolog\u00eda y el panorama de amenazas evolucionan, tambi\u00e9n cambian las habilidades necesarias para trabajar en seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n. Los profesionales de seguridad inform\u00e1tica del futuro necesitar\u00e1n experiencia que les permita participar activamente en el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de sistemas, procedimientos y aplicaciones de seguridad. En la fuerza laboral actual, son pocas las personas que poseen esta amplia gama de habilidades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dificultad para desarrollar talento internamente: <\/strong>Incluso si una organizaci\u00f3n contrata a un profesional de seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n con talento natural, debe familiarizarlo con sus procesos internos y mejores pr\u00e1cticas. Desafortunadamente, muchas de estas empresas carecen de una estrategia de desarrollo de talento bien planificada que incluya la captura de procesos desarrollados por miembros s\u00e9nior del equipo para usarlos como herramientas de ense\u00f1anza e instrucci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mercado altamente competitivo: <\/strong>Si el talento escasea, es l\u00f3gico que los m\u00e1s dotados... <strong>Profesionales de seguridad inform\u00e1tica<\/strong> Las empresas m\u00e1s grandes y exitosas del mundo (como Google y Facebook) los perseguir\u00e1n con vehemencia. Los verdaderos gigantes pueden ofrecer los paquetes m\u00e1s lucrativos y contratar a las aut\u00e9nticas superestrellas, dejando a otras empresas la tarea de competir por, y probablemente pagar de
