El t\u00e9rmino generalmente se define como \u2014o una aproximaci\u00f3n cercana\u2014 inversiones que no se venden durante las operaciones diarias, pero que son necesarias para las actividades en curso y el crecimiento a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Como CIO o CISO, si examina esta definici\u00f3n en el contexto de <strong>operaciones de seguridad<\/strong>, Probablemente descubra que el dinero que paga anualmente a su personal s\u00e9nior de seguridad inform\u00e1tica representa una de sus mayores inversiones continuas. Y considerando que el salario promedio de un ingeniero s\u00e9nior de seguridad inform\u00e1tica supera los 109.000 TP\/T al a\u00f1o, seg\u00fan Glassdoor.com, en tan solo cinco a\u00f1os probablemente habr\u00e1 invertido m\u00e1s de 500.00 TP\/T en esa persona.<\/p>\n<h3>Protegiendo su inversi\u00f3n en operaciones de seguridad<\/h3>\n<p>Ahora piense qu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si esa persona viniera ma\u00f1ana y avisara con dos semanas de anticipaci\u00f3n. Si tuviera un mecanismo para registrar los m\u00e9todos y las mejores pr\u00e1cticas que su miembro superior del equipo ha desarrollado durante los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, los dem\u00e1s miembros del equipo podr\u00edan consultar ese flujo de trabajo, tanto durante como despu\u00e9s de su mandato, y reutilizar esos procesos para la resoluci\u00f3n de amenazas, lo que le permitir\u00eda absorber mejor el impacto de la salida de su personal.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, si esos procedimientos no se han registrado en ninguna parte o est\u00e1n dispersos en varias ubicaciones, la salida del responsable de seguridad equivale a perder una inversi\u00f3n de medio mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares. Adem\u00e1s, sin esos procesos en los que apoyarse, cualquier nuevo miembro del equipo tardar\u00e1 m\u00e1s en familiarizarse y se tendr\u00e1n que invertir m\u00e1s recursos para registrar nuevos procedimientos y evitar el mismo problema en el futuro.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo tanto, es recomendable analizar con m\u00e1s detalle c\u00f3mo documenta sus m\u00e9todos de seguridad, o si lo est\u00e1 haciendo, si tiene dudas sobre c\u00f3mo gestionar\u00eda la p\u00e9rdida de un miembro de su personal directivo.
