Swimlane CEO to speak at Integrated Cyber

Swimlane CEO, Cody Cornell, will also participate in two panels and is set to present alongside McAfee staff at the event

DENVER, Colo. – (October 1, 2018) – Cody Cornell, CEO of Swimlane, a leader in security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), will host a tech talk about the future of collaborative security alongside Pedro Haworth of McAfee, the leading device-to-cloud cybersecurity company, at Integrated Cyber Fall 2018 on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Cornell is also a panelist on two panels.

Hosted by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in collaboration with the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Integrated Cyber brings the integrated adaptive cyber defense (IACD), automated indicator sharing and cyber information sharing communities together. The two-day event provides a forum for collaboration and technical exchange to support the adoption of integrated, automated cyber defenses across the cyber ecosystem, and showcases government, industry, critical infrastructure, operations and research perspectives.

“With Swimlane helping to shape the future of security orchestration, automation and response, I am excited to offer my two cents, helping propel the innovation of security tools into the future,” said Cornell. “Through the power of community and actionable information sharing regarding integration and automation, we aim to shorten the response timeline and improve the effectiveness of cyber defenses.”

On day one of the event (Tuesday, Oct. 2), Cornell will be a panelist on a breakout panel of industry veterans discussing the power of community. The second day will see Cornell on another breakout panel, this one dealing with the second-order benefits of open integration.
