investimentos de capital em termos de compra de novos equipamentos, novos softwares ou um espa\u00e7o de escrit\u00f3rio maior para abrigar uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o em crescimento.<\/p>\n<p>Mas uma an\u00e1lise mais atenta da defini\u00e7\u00e3o tradicional de investimentos de capital \u00e9 reveladora. O termo \u00e9 geralmente definido como \u2014 ou algo muito pr\u00f3ximo de \u2014 investimentos n\u00e3o vendidos no curso normal dos neg\u00f3cios do dia a dia, mas necess\u00e1rios para as atividades cont\u00ednuas e o crescimento a longo prazo.<\/p>\n<p>Como CIO ou CISO, se voc\u00ea examinar essa defini\u00e7\u00e3o no contexto de <strong>opera\u00e7\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a<\/strong>, \u00c9 prov\u00e1vel que voc\u00ea descubra que o dinheiro que paga anualmente \u00e0 sua equipe s\u00eanior de seguran\u00e7a de TI representa um dos seus maiores investimentos cont\u00ednuos. Isso se enquadra na defini\u00e7\u00e3o mencionada anteriormente porque voc\u00ea est\u00e1 investindo em um funcion\u00e1rio que ajuda a proteger sua organiza\u00e7\u00e3o contra amea\u00e7as \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a e os problemas resultantes \u2014 como a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da confian\u00e7a do cliente devido a viola\u00e7\u00f5es de dados ou multas regulat\u00f3rias \u2014 que podem interromper as opera\u00e7\u00f5es em andamento e a expans\u00e3o. E considerando que o sal\u00e1rio m\u00e9dio de um engenheiro s\u00eanior de seguran\u00e7a de TI \u00e9 superior a \u00a3109.000 por ano, de acordo com o Glassdoor.com, em apenas cinco anos voc\u00ea provavelmente ter\u00e1 investido mais de \u00a3500.000 nesse profissional.<\/p>\n<h3>Protegendo seu investimento em opera\u00e7\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a<\/h3>\n<p>Agora imagine o que aconteceria se essa pessoa chegasse amanh\u00e3 e desse um aviso pr\u00e9vio de duas semanas. Se voc\u00ea tivesse um mecanismo para registrar os m\u00e9todos e as melhores pr\u00e1ticas que seu membro s\u00eanior da equipe desenvolveu nos \u00faltimos cinco anos, os outros membros da equipe poderiam consultar esse fluxo de trabalho, tanto durante quanto ap\u00f3s o per\u00edodo em que ele esteve na empresa, e reutilizar esses processos para a resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas, permitindo que voc\u00ea absorva melhor o impacto da sa\u00edda do seu funcion\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>Por outro lado, se esses procedimentos n\u00e3o estiverem documentados em nenhum lugar ou estiverem dispersos em v\u00e1rios locais diferentes, a sa\u00edda do seu l\u00edder de seguran\u00e7a equivale a perder um investimento de meio milh\u00e3o de d\u00f3lares. Al\u00e9m disso, sem esses processos como refer\u00eancia, qualquer novo membro da equipe levar\u00e1 mais tempo para se familiarizar com o trabalho e voc\u00ea ter\u00e1 que investir mais recursos para documentar novos procedimentos e evitar que o mesmo problema se repita no futuro.<\/p>\n<p>Portanto, analisar mais detalhadamente como \u2014 ou se \u2014 voc\u00ea est\u00e1 documentando os m\u00e9todos de seguran\u00e7a \u00e9 uma boa ideia caso tenha alguma d\u00favida sobre como lidaria com a perda de um membro s\u00eanior da equipe.
