Gartner: Selecting the Right SOC Model for Your Organization

Enterprises strive to keep up with the current threat landscape with too many manual processes, while struggling with a lack of resources, skills and budgets. Organizations are increasingly adopting security operations centers (SOCs) to better protect their organizations and keep up with the overwhelming amount of threats. In fact, Gartner stated in the report that “By 2024, 25% of all organizations will have an SOC function, up from 10% today.” A SOC provides centralized and consolidated cybersecurity incident prevention, as well as security event monitoring, detection and response capabilities.
