Jonny has held just about every technical role Swimlane has to offer; Support, Professional Services, Technical Training, Partner Solutions, which means he's broken, fixed, taught, and automated his way through the platform from nearly every angle. These days, he puts that mileage to work making technical marketing content: the Weekly Widgets series, platform and feature demos, and scrappy short-form video with one goal: getting customers and partners actually building in Turbine. His background is an unusual stack: a BFA in Graphic Design layered over years of network administration, systems engineering, and DevOps work. That puts Jonny at the rare intersection of "can build the thing" and "can make the thing look good on camera", which, it turns out, is exactly what explaining an automation platform requires. If it helps someone orchestrate something in Turbine, Jonny considers it his job. If it helps them enjoy doing it, even better. Off the clock, he has too many hobbies and not nearly enough garage space, but that's a story for another bio.
