Meet Suraj Patil: Assoc. Product Manager, Bowls Left, Bats Right

Suraj Patil knows a thing or two about being versatile. In his school cricket days, he was a cross dominant player who batted right handed but bowled with his left. Today, he brings that same adaptability to the Swimlane Product Management team.

Originally from Bangalore, Suraj graduated from BITS Pilani in 2024 and relocated to Hyderabad to start his career with Swimlane in July 2024. He now oversees the entire lifecycle of connectors and components within Turbine.

The Versatile World of Integrations

Suraj thinks the role of an integrations product manager is pretty versatile because the focus shifts constantly. On any given day, he acts as a researcher uncovering user needs, a bridge aligning cross functional teams, and someone translating complex requirements into high quality connectors. By collaborating with third party vendors and alliance partners, he actively strengthens the Swimlane integration ecosystem.

Friday Night Resets

When the work week ends, Suraj hits the soccer pitch. He plays a game every Friday night to refresh after a long, hard week of work. When he is not playing sports, he is usually playing video games, catching up with the latest Hollywood movies and shows, or exploring new places with his family and friends.
