Lead Security Automation Architect
As the Lead Security Automation Architect, Nick leads a team responsible for the architecture and construction of vendor-agnostic use cases, solutions, components, and templates. He architects and develops several Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) use cases and templates. These include phishing triage, alert triage, domain squatting detection, observable enrichment, and threat intelligence research, all within the Swimlane Turbine platforms. Nick creates comprehensive guides and presentations for Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and other stakeholders. Beyond the technical realm, Nick actively promotes Swimlane as a company. His efforts include interviews with reporters, participation in industry expert panels, webinars, captivating demos. Nick’s commitment to excellence drives impactful security solutions and elevates Swimlane’s reputation in the cybersecurity landscape.
Prior to Swimlane, Nick was a DevOps Engineer at Raytheon Cyber Products. As the V-SOC’s in-house developer, Nick recognized a need for and developed several internal tools that transformed the way their SOC operated on a daily basis. This included an integrated environment that was relied upon for shift reporting, task coordination, hour logging and reporting, scheduling, coverage coordination, analyst metric reporting, and investigation tracking for over 30 customer organizations.
