Hi, I’m Fathima Nafeesa. I’m an electronics and communication engineer from Kochi, Kerala, a beautiful city in South India. I have a deep passion for coding and design. I’m married to Ajmal, and we have a wonderful four-year-old son named Aydin. Being with my two favorite guys at home is the highlight of my day!

What does your job entail?

In my role, I have the privilege of building tailored solutions for our customers using Turbine. This position allows me to collaborate with a wonderfully diverse team from across the globe. I find it exciting and fulfilling to tackle the unique and varied challenges that each project brings.

What do you enjoy most about working at Swimlane?

What I enjoy most about working at Swimlane is the incredible blend of innovation and collaboration. Being part of a diverse, global team brings fresh perspectives and creative ideas, which makes every project exciting. 

What excites you most about your work? 

What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to push my limits and think creatively to develop effective solutions. I enjoy staying at the forefront of the industry by learning and working with the latest tools and technologies, which keeps me challenged and continuously growing.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

When I’m not working, I love cooking and trying out different cuisines—it’s a passion that always brings me joy. I also enjoy weekend getaways with my family, as they’re a great way to recharge and create memories. On quieter days, I find comfort in relaxing at home with a good book or a movie. It’s the perfect balance of adventure and calm.

Are there any clubs, volunteer/awareness groups, or social movements you’re passionate about?

Not at the moment! Between work, parenting and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I haven’t added clubs or groups to the mix—but who knows, maybe someday I’ll find the perfect one to dive into!

What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I make a lot of to-do-lists!
