Welcome to the “Life in the Swimlane” blog series. Here we’ll feature interviews with Swimlaners to learn more about their experience. This series will give you a preview of Swimlane, our culture and the people who keep us going.
There’s a lot you can learn about a company by talking to its employees. We want you to get to know Swimlane Engineering better, so we interviewed nine leaders across the engineering team.
Why did you initially choose to work at Swimlane?
Rashmi TabadaSwimlane is at an exciting stage in its evolution - Transforming and growing as a cloud company and in a field, security automation, that is highly needed and offers lots of growth. I was impressed with the candor of the interviewers on the challenges and was encouraged by the welcome attitude that folks had when I shared how I could help them and make a difference. I joined because I am able to not only apply my knowledge and experience but also grow with the company as it transforms itself and I am excited to be a part of that journey.”
Director of Program Management
Nick TausekI initially applied to work at Swimlane for a few reasons: I had heard of a good company culture from some former coworkers who had moved on to Swimlane, I wanted to get into the security automation space, and I had been a SOC analyst for seven years, so it was time for a change.”
Lead Security Solutions Architect
Leonard HillSwimlane has a compelling reason to exist and grow. It seeks to serve a set of needs that I myself have had in the past. Just as importantly, the people I met in my interview process expressed a strong desire to better the Company and delight our customers.”
VP of Engineering
Marjan GeorgievBack in 2014, before Swimlane was Swimlane, I was contracted to build a data visualization library for the product. It was supposed to be a short, two-month engagement. That quick project turned into another, and here I am, 8 years later, still working at the same company, as excited as ever. What attracted me to join initially was the product itself - an automation platform with the potential to solve security analysts' biggest pains. What made me stay was the people.”
Senior Engineering Manager
