Deep Roots in Security Operations
As the strategic leader behind Swimlane’s success, Cody Cornell is responsible for the direction and development of its low-code security automation solution. His dedication to the open exchange of security best practices and expertise enables him to work closely with industry-leading technology vendors and partners. Together, Swimlane and other leaders identify opportunities to streamline and automate SecOps workloads to speed incident response and empower security analysts.
After starting his career in the U.S. Coast Guard, Cornell then spent 15 years in IT and security. His experiences include previous roles with the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency, Department of Homeland Security, American Express and IBM Global Business Services. In 2011, he co-founded Phoenix Cyber, a cybersecurity professional services organization known for their ability to blend strategy and engineering with an organization’s business needs.
Recent Success at Swimlane
The past twelve months have been monumental for Swimlane, thanks to the leadership team and Cody Cornell. Swimlane secured a $70 million growth funding round, introduced the new Swimlane Turbine platform and achieved an 82% YoY increase in new customers.
